There's no much difference between living and leaving

That's my last day in Pisa, tomorrow morning I'll depart direction Milan. In few hours I'll be back in a city that hosted me for two years, with many memories and friends. I'll start a new life, with a real job which I've to adapt. I feel so excited about this change and I'm really thinking that in the end there's no much difference between living and leaving: tomorrow I'll leave to start living new experiences and feelings.

What I'm leaving behind is at the same time something very deep: my family as first, my city where I grown up, many friends both old and newies. I thank everyone for the nice time we had together: when I came back from Milan in July 2007, I was thinking that my time in Pisa was just about studying and get my final degree. In the end I got much more and I feel so grateful to all those people that made this year a very special and unforgettable one.

Cheers and peace!

Another inspiring man

I guess all of you heard about Randy Pash, former professor at Carnegie Mellon, that gave is last lecture before dying some months ago. After that I've watched the lecture on youtube I read the book: simply amazing, inspiring and always positive even if he knew he was dying. I suggest you to read and watch it!

One step ahead

Finally I'm moving! After some weeks stucking into a kind of aphaty, I finally found what to do.

From the begin of December I'll be working for PwC in Milan in HR! I'm so happy and excited about this change and the new life that is appearing in front of me is making me thrive all the time that I think about it. New house (I'm searching for one in Milan, can any one help me?), new lifestyle, new friends (and of course and above all many old friends too!), a city where I lived before and keeps thousands of good memories, my first real job!

I'm trying to imagine how all this will look like, but I'm not really for dreaming, I'm more for living it! So, next week I'm going to Milan to find a place, my next house, and to arrange some basic stuff... that's not scaring at all, it's extremely exciting!

Cheers and peace!

p.s. I'm HAPPY!

Welcome Mr. President Obama

I truly hope that a new era is in front of us: an era of changes, democracy, peace, safety. I personally think that Mr. Barak Obama might be the right person to lead the world further to a new generation of achievers. Good luck Mr. President.
Cheers and peace!

A fantastic book

Now I'm not just talking about a book (a biography actually), but I'm talking about a man who dedicated (and he's dedicating also now) all his life for the freedom of his country, of his race but also for the freedom of all of us. I'm talking about Nelson Mandela and his book "Long walk to freedom" that I've just read.
It was incredibly inspiring, so full of emotions and feelings, so deep inside my heart and my mind. A great example of leadership and also an example for many people around the globe. I felt so proud that people like Mr. Mandela lived (and are still living) on this planet and dedicated their own life for a better world. I suggest everyone to run through this book and this life, it's breathless.
Cheers and peace!
