Tu vuoi fa l'Americano: part 3

Hello hello hello!

we finally found an apartment where to stay for all August. It's in Brooklyn (5511 Fort Hamilton Pkwy) and we share it with an Ecuadorian guy (Joaquin): he's a free lance hair styler. We left in the morning from Gianpy apartment (thanks again bro for the help!) and we moved here. The place is very nice and clean. Our room is very comfortable with air conditioning. We also have an additional flat mate: her name is Isabella and is a beautiful cat!

The day are passing very fast, it's almost a week that we are arrived. I've some more consideration about US and NY:
  • There are very few smokers, especially due to the fact that cigarettes are very expensive.
  • The sanity is insane! Michele is now a bit sick, with some throat problem: he's unable to buy and medicine without an insurance! It's very true that there are millions of people around US that die because they can't cure.
  • Parties in NY are crazy! You can know many people easily and dance all the time (even if I don't like to dance so much). Drinking is fair enough (an average of 14 dollars).
Yesterday we went to ground zero: there's a strange silence surrounding, people are still feeling the hurt in their hearts. It was extremely touching to see the area (I still clearly remember the towers when I visited the city many years ago for the first time) empty and the museum with many tales and sentences.

We're still looking for a job and it's getting day by day even more difficult then expected. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Tonight we are going to a roof party, something completely new for us. It will be a lot of fun for sure! In this moment Michele is dealing with Juaquin, talking about hair and fashion: hilarious!

Cheers and peace!
