Back to university
Now I'm wondering: why am I at university? For the most of the people the answer is pretty obvious: "Studying". Well, actually for me it's very different and I'll tell you why.
I've spent 2 years in Milan and I've lived a lot of experiences and I've started to walk through a long road that will bring me to realize my dreams. this long road has a name and it is personal development.
From the 1st of July I'm back in Pisa and from Monday I've started to attend classes after 3 years that I don't even go to a lesson. Can you imagine the shock. I want to add something: my mates are much younger than me (obviously, at least 2 years) and, maybe this is the point, they have a totally different mind then me. They really seem to be more immature and inexperienced and I really feel sometime a lot of distance between them and me.
About these few lessons that I took part to, I've noticed also some changes in me as student then before leaving to Mila. I'm more interested in learning and participating, let's say more proactive. did I learn something from my AIESEC experience? Probably this is the right attitude to move some steps forward on my personal development path. Anyway, I've a question now:

is it a step back or a step forward?

Hey man! Long time.
Your post sure as hell got me thinking..
I don't know if I can say I completely see where you're coming from in this experience, but perhaps this is not about taking a step back or one forward - maybe it's about a transition phase where you figure out what the step forward is..
For me the similar thing was 'Changing the world'! Love it when people smile as I say this, so I hope you're grinning too. But honestly, I am sure you understand.. and if you end up doing Ethiopia next year, you will sure as hell feel me even better..
So you can imagine my dilemma as I try to figure out how in the world I will change the world, everyday here on..!

Mate, don't worry about it...I situations will never determine whether we're moving forward or backward, but it's our attitude on every situation that makes us move forward or backward..and you have a great attitude man...so cheers :)
with smile,
